諾魯協定國力行作業天數制諾魯協定國(PNA)指出,索羅門群島、諾魯及吐瓦魯3大會員國配合PNA為保育所轄水域鮪魚資源的永續性於2011年初實施的作業天數制(VDS),分別於今年6月及11月拒絕所有外籍酒店工作圍網漁船入漁。VDS要求會員國用完天數額度,須即刻停止作業並可向其他會員國買進作業天數,以維持PNA水域內的作業總努力量符合永續標準。因此,用完作業天數的索羅門群島、吐瓦魯及諾魯向馬紹機車借款爾群島購買作業天數、PNG向密克羅尼西亞、馬紹爾群島及帛琉購買作業天數;另索羅門群島有再將作業天數賣給韓國作業漁船的情形。(摘譯自INFOFISH Trade News, No. 23/2011,15 Dec. 2011) 設計裝潢The PNA (Parties of Nauru Agreement) reported that three of its member countries have taken a step to close their waters to foreign fishing vessels in order to maintain 酒店工作sustainable tuna fishing limits. In November, Nauru and Tuvalu closed their fisheries for all foreign purse seine operators. Earlier in June, Solomon Islands also decided to take 酒店打工a similar stand. A key part of the PNA’s conservation and management for tuna is limiting the number of fishing days in PNA waters. If one member country uses up their days, 房屋買賣they must close the fishery and purchase fishing days from another member country so as to keep over all fishing effort within sustainable limit in the PNA area. Beginning in 酒店打工2011, PNA implemented the limits on fishing, which resulted in the fishery closures in Solomon Islands, Tuvalu and Nauru Solomon Islands then bought fishing days from Marshall 宜蘭民宿Islands through bilateral trading and sold these to South Korean P/S vessels fishing in their waters in 2011. Similarly, PNG made use of the same scheme by buying fishing days 辦公室出租from Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands and Palau to keep its fishery open.
